We are excited to announce the launch of the RM Framework Podcast, a brand-new series exploring the professionalisation of research management across Europe. Over the next 18 months, the series will feature a total of 15 episodes, highlighting project activities, sharing insights, and providing practical perspectives for research managers and institutions alike.
The first episode introduces the project and its objectives, featuring Nik Claesen, Managing Director of EARMA and project coordinator, as our inaugural guest. He shares the background of the RM Framework project, its role in consolidating the research management profession across Europe, and the practical tools it will develop — from guidelines to a training handbook — aimed at strengthening capacity building in research management. The episode also explores how the project seeks to align values, roles, and ambitions across institutions, providing a shared language and practical entry points for both new and experienced research management teams.
