1st Outreach Event
The 1st Outreach Event introduced the project’s vision and first results, while inviting participants to exchange ideas and insights on the future of RM training. The following presentations were delivered at the RM Framework 1st Outreach Event:
ERA POLICY AGENDA AND THE RESEARCH MANAGEMENT ACTION
This presentation introduced the ERA Policy Agenda 2025–2027 and the Research Management (RM) Action, focusing on upskilling, capacity building, networking, and recognition within the European RM community. Supported by 20 Member States, the initiative promotes competence development, the RM Comp framework, and a future European Charter for research managers.
RM FRAMEWORK PROJECT INTRODUCTION
The RM Framework project, funded by the EU, aims to establish a sustainable European qualification system for Research Management. Running from February 2025 to January 2027, it involves 17 partners from 10 countries and delivers three main results: the RM Handbook, a Quality Label, and pilot testing to strengthen RM professionalisation and policy alignment across Europe.
SHOWCASING THE RM FRAMEWORK HANDBOOK
Developed under Work Package 1, the RM Framework Handbook serves as a competence-based guide for designing and implementing high-quality training programmes in Research Management. It provides a coherent qualification framework, formal training standards, curriculum components, and practical tools to harmonise RM professional development across Europe.
