Luis Gómez

Luis Gómez is the Vice-Rector for Research and Doctoral Studies. He is Full Professor with six CNEAI research periods, one in knowledge transfer and member of an educational innovation group. He was former Deputy Director of Forestry School and CBDS-UP, founding member of CBGP (Severo Ochoa centre), and coordinator of PhD and Master’s programs. Led 20+ R&D projects and nine PhD theses, five with International Mention. He stayed four years at UC San Diego. He holds two UPM Research and Doctoral Awards.

Roberto Martínez

Roberto Martínez is the Director of the International Research Office at UPM, leading the team driving R&I internationalization since 2018. With 20+ years of experience, he holds a Telecommunication Engineering degree and a Diploma in Innovation Management. He has served as National Contact Point for FET in Horizon 2020 and as an EC project evaluator. He also coordinated CYTED’s Scientific-Technological Actions and advocates for the recognition and development of research managers.
